What is computer networking?
Computer networking is how devices connect and exchange data, using agreed rules called protocols. Switches connect devices within a local network, routers move traffic between networks, and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS and HTTPS make communication reliable and findable. Network security protects that traffic and those devices from misuse.
